FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE NATIONAL AGENCY OF NATURAL RESOURCES Pursuant to Article 100 of the Constitution and Article 10 of the Law no.9000, dated 30.1.2003 “On the organization and functioning of the Council of Ministers”, the proposal of the Minister of Economy, Trade and Energy the Council of Ministers

DECIDED:

1. The establishment of the National Agency of Natural Resources (AKBN), an institution under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Energy, headquartered in Tirana.
2. National Agency of Natural Resources has scope includes development, supervision of rational use of natural resources, according to the government policy, and monitoring of their post-exploitation in mining, petroleum and energy.
