The National Agency of Natural Resources (AKBN) places special emphasis on the rehabilitation of exploited areas, undertaking concrete measures for environmental protection. Through collaboration with mining entities, progressive rehabilitation is being implemented in several regions.

In the Kruja area, over 12 hectares of land impacted by mining activities have been reforested, thanks to productive cooperation with these entities.

Beyond investments in greening and rehabilitation, it is essential that these areas are managed sustainably, ensuring a green and healthy future for our community.
