The National Agency of Natural Resources (AKBN) officially participates in the seminar “Balkans Regional Workshop and Introductory Legal Review/Regulatory Best Practices for Mining Life-Cycle Governance Training and Regulation Simulation,” held in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Albania, represented by the National Agency of Natural Resources (AKBN) and RIC EIT Albania, took part in the seminar, showcasing best practices in legal and regulatory frameworks for mine rehabilitation and the management of mining waste, including tailings from enrichment plants.

The seminar also included consultations on the regulatory framework for the mining industry, highlighting the exchange of best practices in managing mining and technological waste.

Such seminars play a crucial role for improving the skills of AKBN staff and enhancing the efficiency of managing Albania’s natural resources.
