The project was part of the Cross-Border Cooperation Program INTERREG IPA II, Greece-Albania 2014-2020 with reference number “A4-1.3-7”. NANR was involved in development of the Greece-Albania project: “Mobilization towards Sustainable Energy for Students” with the acronym “G.A.M.E.S.”. Target of the project was the investment in public buildings with due concern in implementation of energy efficiency measures and renewable resources.
The National Agency on Natural Resources selected two public buildings: The “Centre of Culture” of Dervician in Dropull Municipality and the “Qazim Pali” School of Borsh in Himara Municipality. The buildings are located at the centr of both municipalities, ensuring high visibility and will serve as meeting and cooperation points for the community, aiming at the increase of public awareness in investments for energy conservation. The National Agency on Natural Resources successfully realized the project “G.A.M.E.S”, implementing all work packages in the service of the complete reconstruction of buildings that aims to integration of efficient energy measures and renewable resources.
