The National Agency on Natural Resources is a partner of the BLUE DEAL, Project EU and an initiative co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the IPA Fund to capitalize on the Blue Energy (BE) program.
The BLUE DEAL project aims at increase of the transnational activity of innovative groups and networks involved in the clean energy sector, to develop the relations and synergies between SMEs, public authorities, institutions of knowledge, civil society and to create international and regional alliances.
To develop these ideas, NANR has launched the first meetings with high schools students, who will be innovative and future experts on the development of clean energy. Due to this initiative, AKBN aims to raise awareness and active involvement of young generation in building a clean energy future.
To achieve this objective, AKBN organized competitions on "BLUE DEAL SCHOOL", with a specific focus on the promotion of marine energy. Submission of innovative ideas, initiatives or experiments to promote renewable energy sources were asked to high school students.
Currently, AKBN has organized information meetings in high schools of Tirana: “Besnik Sykja”, “Arben Broci” and “Petro Nini Luarasi” on the respective dates 16-19-23 November. These meetings will continue in the city of Gjirokastra.
