Today the representatives of AKBN and ISHPM signed a cooperation agreement between the two institutions. In his speech Mr. Dael Dervishi,Executive Director of AKBN pointed out the importance of this cooperation for more intensive distribution control and monitoring in the field of companies that operate in the field of mining, hydropower, and oil gas. Mr. Ergys Agassi, Head Inspector of ISHPM said that after signing this agreement we will have a more decisive intervention to end up definitively all companies that exploit illegally natural resources in Albania.

The aim of this agreement is:

– The cooperation and mutual support between ISHMP and AKBN structures, for the correct implementation of regulatory legislation, technical norms and standards in force operating in the field of environment and the use of natural resources.

– Promotion and coordination of actions aiming the protection of environment, forestry, the improvement of natural resources management by applying the correct conditions specified in the environmental permits, mining permits, conditions concessionary contracts and the petroleum agreement, companies that operate in the use of natural resources.

– Mutual exchange of information on companies that conduct activities in the exploitation of natural resources, environmental impact, aiming to increase the performance to ensure the implementation of legal provisions, as the scope of the two institutions.

The implementation of this agreement will be extended throughout the country for a period of 1 from the relevant departments and sectors of both institutions.
