The exchange of information and progress of the “Aquanex” project, where AKBN is already a benefiter, was the target of the information meeting held at AKBN on Thursday which was attended by directors and staff. At the outset of the meeting the Executive Director, Mr. Bylyku briefed on the importance of the direct inclusion and benefit of AKBN from these projects.
He appreciated the applications which have been made and the projects profited by the Department of the Renewable Energy through which trainings will be received. According to him, they will increase the level of AKBN’s expertise in the field of the management of the natural resources. He also underlined that the projects LED and Aquanex have unlimited opportunities to benefit for increasing the capacities of AKBN’s human resources as the most efficient, concrete and experienced technical institution in the country.
Further on, the Director of the Department of the Renewable Energy, Mr. Artan Leskoviku made a presentation of the progress of the “Aquanex” project. The project is being implemented in two areas in Gjirokastra and Permet and its aim is to assess the energetic potential of the two rivers, Vjosa and Drino and the way how they can be exploited as energy source.
Similar meetings will be held systematically to share information on the progress of these projects and the ones which will be taken over in the future.
